We are thrilled that the count of our female drivers continues to increase, and these dedicated individuals consistently ensure secure, effective, and prompt delivery services for our clients. By expanding their ranks today, we enhance road safety and improve our operational efficiency. Our aim is to keep increasing this trend year after year.
The WoW program aims to provide women with the necessary technical abilities and road safety understanding needed to handle large trucks effectively. It clearly shows that when provided with opportunities, women will meet challenges head-on and succeed. The purpose of this effort goes beyond teaching individuals how to drive—it aims at fostering economic empowerment, decreasing joblessness, and promoting gender equity within Nigeria. We applaud Lafarge Africa for their steadfast dedication to this endeavor."
