Ethiopia and Netherlands Explore New Ways to Boost Bilateral Cooperation

On April 9, 2025, Addis Ababa – ENA reported that Minister of Foreign Affairs Gedion Timothewos met with Dutch Ambassador to Ethiopia Christine Pirenne at his office.

Both parties explored methods for enhancing the mutual relationship between their respective nations.

During the event, the Minister highlighted the continuing macroeconomic reforms in Ethiopia and encouraged Dutch businesses to invest in the nation.

He updated the Ambassador on the advancement of implementing the Pretoria Peace Accord.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they likewise shared their perspectives on various elements concerning regional peace and security.
