AAP Slams Attack on Sole J-K MLA Mehraj Malik

New Delhi [India], April 10 (ANI): The Convener of the Aam Admi Party Arvind Kejriwal severely criticized the reported assault on its only Jammu and Kashmir AAP MLA Mehraj Malik .

Criticising the attack on AAP MLA in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Mehraj Malik , AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal turned to 'X' and stated: " BJP ' assault on Aam Aadmi Party legislator Mehraj Malik is strongly reprehensible. This indicates the BJP 's frustration. Mehraj Malik was only raising questions of the public. BJP Cannot silence the chorus of the populace.

Senior AAP politician and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said on 'X': BJP Leaders are intent on causing mischief throughout the nation. Do not assume this behavior will change. Mehraj Malik is the only AAP MLA He is sufficient to combat this challenge single-handedly. BJP goons."

Senior AAP member and Delhi State Unit President Saurabh Bharadwaj posted on 'X' and said: "Extremely disgraceful behavior by the thugs" BJP They can't tolerate even a single elected MLA from the Aam Aadmi Party in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.

Earlier on Wednesday, a brawl erupted at the location. Jammu and Kashmir Assembly following comments made by Mehraj Malik Regarding Hindus, this resulted in several MLAs being led away by officials.

It has been reported that some Bharatiya Janata Party MLAs raised objections over purported remarks made by Mehraj Malik , where he stated that Hindus apply a 'tilak', yet they continue to sin constantly.

Reacting to the comments, BJP MLA Vikram Randhawa, who witnessed the brawl in the assembly, criticized Malik's remarks.

He has offended Hindus today; can he act however he pleases? We will oppose this as he has disrespected Hindus by accusing them of wearing tilak, committing sins, stealing from others, and consuming alcohol. We will make sure to inform him about the true actions of Hindus.

Meanwhile, AAP MLA Mehraj Malik Also had a intense dispute with PDP MLA Waheed Parra. "You have been disloyal... he has allowed criminals to enter. Look at all the people outside. Who are they?" Malik said to Parra.

During his conversation with the press, Malik stated, "He informs me that I lack respect and etiquette. Is he going to show me how to improve?"

The AAP MLA went on to claim that he was assaulted by BJP workers. (ANI)
