Sunny Deol's Action-Packed 'Ghatak' Set for Re-Release on March 21 - International Edition (English)

On Monday, the official Instagram account of the Red Lorry Film Festival announced, "Get ready for the comeback of an iconic film! GHATAK will be back on the silver screen at the Red Lorry Film Festival. Experience the thrill live on 21st March 2025 at your local cinema!"
Sunny's legendary action movie 'Ghatak,' released during Diwali in 1996, marked 28 years since its debut the previous year.
Action movies continue to be a favorite among audiences due to their compelling plots, strong acting, and iconic lines.
To mark the special event, the 'Gadar' actor posted a nostalgic clip on Instagram showcasing some of the movie's most memorable moments and lines.
Sunny similarly paused to recall the renowned late actor Amrish Puri, known for his portrayal of Kashi Nath, an intimidating crime boss in the film. The compelling depiction of this antagonistic figure by Amrish Puri stood out significantly in Ghatak.
In addition to the video, Sunny posted, "#Ghatak at 28! My Diwali release from 1996! Directed by #RajKumarSantoshi, misses you #AmrishPuri sahab."
Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the movie featured notable performances from Danny Denzongpa and Meenakshi Seshadri.
